Supporting Farmers

One bag at a time.

As a supplier of bulk bags, it is important to Euroflex that we provide an excellent service to all stakeholders in produce supply.

This starts with the Fertiliser bags, ranging from 500kgs bags supplied into the Irish market, 600kgs and 1000kgs bags into the UK market. Each bag is designed for easy filling and transportation. Fertiliser is spread onto the fields adding a specialist blend of nutrients to the soil. A very complex mixture which our customers do very well.

Then the seed season comes in. A range of seeds are planted into the fertilised fields, ie carrots, potatoes, rapeseed to name but a few. The farmers will have planned their fields and fertilised accordingly to get the best yield possible for the market place, the better the yield the better the prices in stores are.

Once the growing season has completed, bulk bags are used for some of the produce. These are generally, but not exclusive to, carrots and potatoes. Being able to use tonne bags for these vegetables helps with the packing process and the vegetables can go straight into the wash plants – ready to be sorted and packed for the consumers.

It is an amazing process and we are pleased to be doing our small part in it, one bag at a time.
