Fertiliser bags are normally a single loop bag with an inner liner sewn into the loop.
The bags are inflated prior to the fertilizer discharging from the filling rig hopper. Sounds simple? This can be a problem for some bags in the marketplace - but not ours!
The issue is that air may not disperse quickly enough from the bag after filling and it has nowhere to go once the liner is tied off or heat sealed. A 'balloon' effect of trapped air is inside the top of the bag and when the bags are stacked, the bags may topple, or even the inner liner bursts and the fertilizer is likely to be ruined, leaving a messy clean-up for someone.
Our liners are specially designed to allow the air to flow from the liner quickly, whilst keeping the fertilizer protected within the liner’s inner seals, keeping contaminants and moisture out. By ensuring that our liners are venting properly, our customers have a consistent and quicker filling times than most.
And that’s not all …. In addition to having the right liners in the bag, we also ensure that the bag is folded in such a way that the operative can take the bag straight from the pallet and onto the discharge tube - no opening the bag, or making sure it is the right way round etc. We know that such small details are what makes a big difference for our customers.
